Dr. Nicolás Padilla-Raygoza was Professor Titular B, Department of Nursing and Obstetrics, Division of Health Sciences and Engineering, Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, University of Guanajuato, Mexico, and was Coordinator of Research and Continuous Education, School of Medicine, University of Celaya, México. He is Coordinator of Research Projects in the Institute of Public Health, Guanajuato State. He received his Medical Doctor degree in 1984 from UAG-UNAM, the pediatrician degree from the Mexican Council of Certification in Pediatrics in 1986, the Postgraduate Epidemiology from University of London in 2001, and Master and Doctorate degrees in sciences in focus Epidemiology AIU in 2006, and Master in Social Gerontology from UNINI Mexico in 2017. He has had 170 articles published with more than 700 citations; he has also published 48 book chapters and edited five books on health. The Institute of Public Health from Guanajuato State recognised Dr. Nicolás Padilla-Raygoza, as researcher on health in the Guanajuato State, 2015 and UBSA in 2016 recognised him as researcher with social impact. He is member of National Researchers System 2012-2018 and 2021-2025 by CoNaCyT, Mexico. He received an award from Clarivate-Publons as reviewer in 2018. He is a member of Mexican Academy of Pediatrics and Fellow of Royal Society of Public Health.
Research interests: pediatrics, chronic diseases, cancer, epidemiology, infectious diseases.
