Urothelial tumours of the urinary tract coding issues

These modules on coding topography, morphology and cancer stage have been developed through a collaboration between the European Network of Cancer Registries, Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and ecancer.

The purpose of the modules is to train the cancer registrars to implement the international classifications for coding a cancer case

This module ‘Urothelial Tumours of the Urinary Tract’ presents the rules for coding topography, morphology and stage of Urothelial Tumours of the Urinary Tract using the third edition of the  International Classification of Diseases for Oncology (ICD-O-3) and the eighth edition of the UICC TNM Classification of malignant tumours.
