Dr Gilberto Lopes speaks to ecancer at CCLMIC 2019 about the role of academic institutions in global oncology.

He outlines some of the areas of discussion from the CCLMIC meeting, particularly to address the disparities in global cancer control.

Dr Lopes talks about some of the challenges, and how we might begin to address some of them, before moving on to highlight about the Global Oncology Program at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
