Bruce Christensen speaks to ecancer at the APAO 2019 meeting in Boston about working on the board of the APAO.

He begins by outlining some of the sorts of projects that occur through APAO, and how the administrative aspects are streamlined.

Christensen then outlines a survey of PA programs, which aims to understand how these programs are educating their students, with a focus on oncology.

He hopes that by educating PAs better, they will be able to manage a wider variety of tasks, and outlines how the rotation system helps that.

He finishes by explaining some of the important movements that are happening in haematology, with a focus on outpatient medicine.
