EBMT 2016
3 - 6 Apr 2016
Feria Valencia – Convention & Exhibition Centre, Valencia, Spain
The recent developments in novel cellular therapies and the use of alternative donors will be one of the key issues of our EBMT 2016 program.
The manipulation of the immune system in this setting including the use of check-point inhibitors and novel monoclonal antibodies, management of transplant-related complications and long term survivorship will be discussed by the key opinion leaders. The full transplant package therapy with pre-, peri- and post-transplant interventions are key points that will be addressed.
The EBMT Nurses Group for 2016 will explore the management of transplant complications and patient expectations in the pre-, peri- and post-transplant period. Once again we aim to educate those new to the complex arena of transplant whilst keeping our more experienced nursing members fully informed of the current and future practices in a rapidly changing landscape. We will have input from across the even wider reach of EBMT this year with a welcome collaboration from our new colleagues in Australia and New Zealand.
This will parallel the other cutting-edge topics such as JACIE, cell processing, paediatrics and data management sessions within the scientific program.
