Prof Frank Chinegwundoh speaks to ecancer at the 2019 AORTIC conference in Maputo about the differences seen in prostate cancer among men with African and Caribbean heritage in the UK.
He explains the basis of the PROCESS study, which found that African and Caribbean men had an increased risk of developing prostate cancer compared to white men. However, this risk is lower than that of African American men in the United States.
Prof Chinegwundoh also discusses the possible reasons for these differences, and what is being done to address this.
