Dr Philip Poortmans spoke to ecancer at the BGICC 2020 conference in Cairo, Egypt about general advances in breast cancer over time.

Dr Poortmans gives an outline of how our treatment of breast cancer has changed over the last couple of decades.

This includes better treatment options, diagnostics, organisation of cancer, and surgery.

He then touches some of the issues faced by LMICs, emphasising the need for high quality of and specificity of surgeons.
