Dr Marina Garassino speaks about the challenges of conducting well designed clinical trials and discusses a phase III trial she is conducting which looks at the role of the KRAS and EGFR mutations in lung cancer. Dr Garassino discusses the role of biobanks in cancer care, explains why she believes there is a need for biobank guidelines and addresses the issue of patient consent for tissue use.
