Michael Hallek, MD, University Clinic of Cologne, Germany, and Workshop Chair of XV iwCLL 2013 in Cologne, 9-11 September, talks to ecancer at EHA about the upcoming iwCLL meeting and a number of topics in CLL that will be covered in the programme including molecular biology, cellular biology, prognostication, novel treatment approaches, stem cell transplantation, and optimising clinical trial design.
The 15th iwCLL will incorporate state of the art lectures from experts in the field plus presentations based on the best submitted abstracts. Expert speakers include Carlo M Croce, Stephan Stilgenhauer, Cathy Wu, John Gribben, Nicholas Chiorazzi, Kanti Rai, Neil Kay, William G Wierda, Tait Shanafelt, Michael J Keating, John C Byrd, Emili Montserrat, Peter Dreger, Peter Hillmen, Tadeusz Robak, Federico Caligaris-Cappio, Guillaume Dighiero and Tom Kipps.
There will also be a Young Investigators Meeting on CLL integrated into iwCLL on Sunday Sept 8 where young investigators will have the opportunity to share their research interests in CLL in a collaborative workshop setting.
